Introducing Subscriby Copilot AI

Subscriby Copilot AI is live in Subscriby 5.0.16. Press Ask Copilot in your dashboard and ask about your projects, your members and your money in plain words, or tell it what to do: it reads your own data, runs the routine work with exactly your permissions, shows you a card and waits before anything it cannot undo, answers your members from what you teach it, and writes you every Monday. It runs on the dashboard, in your bot, in your inbox, on your portal, on the REST API, the MCP server, webhooks, Zapier and n8n, from today.
Here is the one-sentence version: every membership tool gives you a dashboard to read; from today yours is one you can talk to, and it talks back with your own numbers and does what you ask.
And the one-sentence version for the number-minded: an operator built into the membership tool, with your members, your money and your support in reach, is not available on any other platform we compare against today. More on that below.
The Short Version
- Ask Copilot in the dashboard sidebar: a sheet beside every page that keeps its thread as you move, streams its answer as it works, shows every step it took with the time it cost, and opens what it just made with one tap.
- It knows your business already. It reads the same services your dashboard reads, so “who is about to churn?” is answered from your own retention ledger, with names, not from an export you pasted.
- It does the work, with your permissions and never more. The same 213 operations the MCP server offers an outside agent, run as you: coupons made, broadcasts sent, access codes generated, members looked up, figures added up.
- Before anything it cannot undo, a card with the exact arguments and your Confirm. Switch on Review every change and the new things it makes wait on a card too.
- In your bot too. Press Ask Copilot on the home menu or on any project card, or send /copilot, and every message you type while it is open is a question.
- In your inbox. Press ✨ in a support thread and it drafts your next reply; switch on member answers and it answers a member’s own-subscription questions at once, marked as automated, while everything else waits for a person.
- Knowledge, a new page in every project: write a question with its answer or upload a guide, and the Copilot answers your members and your team from it.
- On your portal. A second switch puts Ask Copilot in the corner of your portal page for a signed-in member, with Talk to a person one tap away.
- Every Monday at seven, in your own time zone, it writes you the week; between Mondays it tells you once when something breaks pattern. Neither costs a turn or a cent.
- It reads your screen, listens and speaks. The eye beside the context chip sends the page you are looking at with your message, the microphone turns your voice into the message, and the speaker reads an answer aloud.
- On every plan, with free turns every month: 10 on Free, 25 on Starter, 50 on Growth, and 100, 250 and 500 free member answers. Past the free part, a turn is $0.10, a suggested reply $0.05 and a member answer $0.01, paid from Copilot Credits you buy in packs from $10 to $100.
- Everywhere Subscriby is: the Knowledge and Copilot Credits APIs, nine MCP tools, seven webhook events, and the same operations on Zapier 4.4.0 and n8n 4.4.0.
Why a Copilot
Running a membership is a hundred small questions a day. Who is about to churn? Why did revenue dip this week? How many codes do I have left? Which members are on a trial that ends tomorrow? Every one of them has an answer somewhere in your dashboard, behind a page, a filter and a column, and every one of them takes a minute you could spend on your community. Then come the small jobs: a coupon for a member who is wavering, a broadcast to the ones who cancelled, a batch of access codes for Sunday’s guests. Each is three screens and a form.
The assistants on the market start from a blank page. You paste an export, you explain your plans, you describe your members, and then you copy the answer back into the tool by hand. The knowledge was never theirs, and the work was never theirs either.
Subscriby Copilot AI starts from your data. It reads the same services every dashboard page reads, under the same permissions you hold, so the question is answered from the ledger and the job is done in the same tool, with a record of every step. We built it the way we build everything else: real operations, a ledger you can audit line by line, a confirmation before anything that cannot be undone, and a price you can read before you press Send.
The Panel: Ask, and Watch It Work
Press Ask Copilot under the search box in the dashboard sidebar, or Ctrl+/. A sheet slides in beside the page, and the page stays where it is, so the numbers you are asking about stay in view. The context chip at the top names what the Copilot is looking at, the project or the page, so “pause this member’s subscription” needs no name. An empty thread offers prompts drawn from the page you are on: who is about to churn, draft a win-back broadcast, why did revenue dip this week, find members on a trial ending soon, generate a new access code.
The answer streams in as it works. Above it, a timeline shows every step: the model’s own thinking, folded, and every operation it ran with its arguments and how long it took, so a two-step question reads “Worked for 6.4s · 2 steps” and opens to show exactly what was read. Anything it made or read is one tap away under the answer, and the answer ends with the next steps to tap. A thread follows you from page to page, and Threads brings an older one back; threads are kept for ninety days.
Beside Send you choose the tier: Auto picks the model for each request, Lite is for quick reads and simple edits, Pro for sharper answers and multi-step work, Max for the deepest reasoning on the hardest requests; each says what a turn costs before you press it. Under every answer a small line says what it used: the tier and the model, the prompt tokens with the cached part, the output tokens, the time, and whether it was a free turn or one from your Copilot Credits. A table in an answer is shown as a card per row, so nothing runs out of the panel.
Three more things the panel does:
- It reads your screen. While the eye beside the context chip is lit, the text of the page you are looking at travels with your message, what is in view first, so “why is this one red?” or “add up this column” works on any page. Tap the eye to keep it off a sensitive page; your browser remembers the choice. What it reads counts toward the turn’s tokens, never as an extra turn.
- It listens. Tap the microphone and the field becomes a recorder with a clock and a live spectrum of your voice; press ✓ and your words land in the composer for you to read and send. Nothing is sent until you press Send.
- It speaks. Tap Speak Aloud under an answer and it is read to you, in a natural voice for English and in your browser’s own voice for the other languages. Recording and reading are free.
Before Anything It Cannot Undo
Every operation the Copilot can run is marked read-only, additive or destructive. Reads and additive work run as asked: a lookup, a report, a coupon, a broadcast draft. A refund, a removal, a deletion or a cancellation stops on a card that names what will happen, with the exact arguments in plain words and Cancel and Confirm; a card left unanswered expires and nothing happens. Switch on Review every change and the new things it makes, a coupon, a plan, a sequence, wait on a card too.
It runs with exactly your permissions, never more. A team permission, Use Copilot, grants it to a role, and whoever asks is bounded by their own role, so a teammate who may not refund cannot have the Copilot refund either. Every operation it runs is written to the activity log as the Copilot’s, on your behalf, so the record reads the same way it would if you had pressed the buttons yourself.
In Your Bot
The same operator lives inside the bot your connector runs for you. Press Ask Copilot on the home menu or on any project card, or send /copilot, and every message you type while it is open is a question. The bot shows the Copilot thinking in front of you, then answers with buttons that open what it names, up to three follow-up questions to tap, and Confirm or Cancel for anything it is holding. When your Copilot Credits are spent, it offers a top-up. Read the walk-through under Copilot in Your Bot.
In Your Inbox
Two things, each its own switch.
- A suggested reply, on request. Press ✨ in a support thread and the Copilot drafts your next reply from the conversation, the member’s standing, your saved replies and your Knowledge. You read it, edit it and send it, or dismiss it; the member never sees a draft. Each draft is $0.05 of Copilot Credits, never a free turn.
- Member answers, while you sleep. A switch in the inbox’s settings, off until you turn it on, lets the Copilot answer a member’s own-subscription questions at once: a receipt, the renewal date, pausing or cancelling, a failed payment and the way to fix it, the portal address, and whatever your Knowledge covers. The answer is marked as an automated answer from your project, written into the thread for you to read, and everything else waits for a person as before; at most ten answers an hour on a thread, one member answer each.
A member is never answered by the operator. They are answered by a separate assistant with no tools and no view of anything but their own standing, your saved replies, your portal address and what you wrote for members. It cannot touch a project, a plan or another member, by construction rather than by instruction.
Knowledge: What You Teach It
The last entry of your project’s menu is now Knowledge, on every plan and free to fill. Write a question with its answer, or upload a plain-text or Markdown guide, up to 200 entries and 2 MB a file. On two cards you choose whether members may be answered from an entry (Members & Team) or only the people who run the project (Team Only). An entry is cut into passages and ready the moment it is saved, and What the Copilot Knows shows you the passages the Copilot would be handed for any question, each with the entry it came from, before a member ever asks.
A member whose question your Knowledge covers hears back at once from the entries you marked for them, in the inbox, in your bot and on your portal, with the entries the answer drew on kept on the thread. The suggested reply reads every matching passage, your team’s notes included, because you read it before anything goes out. Knowledge has its own five permissions, and every entry’s history is in the activity log. The guide is under Knowledge.
On Your Portal
A second switch in the inbox’s settings, Let Subscriby Copilot answer members on your portal, off until you turn it on, puts Ask Copilot in the corner of your portal page for a signed-in member. It opens a sheet with three starter questions and answers about their own membership and from your Knowledge, marked as automated answers from your project, with a button that opens their memberships when the answer is about them. Talk to a person files the chat on their inbox thread as a note and sends them to your bot. Nothing is kept beyond the visit; one member answer each, at most twenty an hour per member.
Every Monday, and When Something Breaks
Every Monday at seven, in your own time zone, Subscriby Copilot writes you the week: what came in and from how many payments against the week before, who joined and who cancelled and why, the renewals that failed and the ones paid after all, who sits in a grace window or had access paused, the trials ending this week, who is waiting in your inboxes, and up to three steps worth doing, each with a button to its page. It arrives in the bell, by email and on your connected account as your alert destinations say, under a new Subscriby Copilot class you route like any other under Settings → Notifications; a week with nothing to say sends nothing.
Between Mondays it reads every project against its own four weeks before and tells you once when something breaks pattern: payments failing far more often than usual, a day of cancellations, or a payment rail on which every recent attempt failed. The alert stays open while the signal lasts and closes by itself when it stops. Neither the digest nor an alert costs a turn or a cent. Details under Digest & Alerts.
What It Costs
Every plan includes free turns and free member answers every month: 10 turns and 100 answers on Free, 25 and 250 on Starter, 50 and 500 on Growth. A turn is one message you send and the answer it gets, however many operations the answer needed up to four; past four it counts as two, and it stops at eight, so a runaway question cannot run away with your credit. Lite always counts one; Max counts two, and four past four steps.
Past the free part, the Copilot is paid from Copilot Credits, prepaid credit that only the Copilot can spend: $0.10 a turn, $0.05 a suggested reply, $0.01 a member answer, drawn from the free allowance first, then the free part of your credits, then the paid part. Packs of $10, $25, $50 and $100 are bought through Stripe Checkout under Plans & Billing; the $25 pack comes with $2.50 on top, the $50 pack with $7.50 and the $100 pack with $15, and the bonus never lapses. Auto top-up buys the pack you choose when the balance falls under $5, and a monthly spend cap, $20 until you change it, holds the line where you set it.
Copilot Credits never touch an invoice and never pay for a plan, nothing is ever owed, and an empty balance stops the meter, not the free turns, so a creator on the Free plan uses the Copilot every month with no card on file. Plans & Billing shows one balance with the free part and its lapse date under it, this month’s usage by kind, the packs and a statement of every pack, grant, refund and month of usage. The full rules are under Turns & Credits and Credits & Credit Packs.
Your Data and the Model
A quick model classifies each request and answers members, a stronger one handles multi-step work and the inbox, and the tier you pick overrides the router. Requests go to the model provider under a zero-data-retention agreement and are never used to train a model; threads are pruned after ninety days. The Copilot is provider-neutral: the model behind it is one setting away, and a thread started on one model continues on the next with its whole history. The whole picture, who may use it, what bounds it and where the data goes, is under Permissions & Safety.
Copilot or MCP?
Both, if you like. Subscriby has been agent-native since April: every operation the Copilot runs is also a tool on the MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or an automation of your own can run your account too, under the same permissions. The Copilot is the operator inside the product: no setup, the model chosen and run by Subscriby, the conversation kept beside the page it is about, and your members answered while you sleep. The MCP server is the same operations wherever you already work, with your assistant’s own memory and other tools beside them. The comparison, line by line, is under Copilot or MCP.
Nobody Else Does This
We compare Subscriby against the tools creators choose between on our site, Whop, Patreon, InviteMember and Memberful among them, and we checked them again for this launch. As of October 2026, none of them documents an operator inside the product that reads your own members, money and support and acts on them with your permissions, drafts and answers in your inbox from what you taught it, or writes you a weekly digest from your own figures; every one of our comparison tables marks the AI Operator row Not available. An assistant that knows your business before you type a word, built into the membership tool rather than bolted on, is not available on any other competitor yet.
How to Start, Step by Step
1. Press Ask Copilot
In the dashboard sidebar, under the search box, or Ctrl+/. Ask about a project, a member or the money in plain words; the answer streams in, with every step it took on a timeline you can open. Your free turns are already there.
2. Teach it
Open Knowledge in a project’s menu. Add the questions your members ask most with their answers, upload the guide you already send new members, mark each for members or your team, and read in What the Copilot Knows what it will be handed.
3. Let it answer your members
In the inbox’s settings, switch on member answers in the inbox and, if you want it, on your portal page. Watch the threads: every automated answer is written there for you to read, and anything it could not answer waits for you.
4. Watch Plans & Billing
The Copilot Credits card shows your free turns, your balance and this month’s usage; buy a pack when you want more than the free part, set the cap where you like, and read the statement.
Where It Shows Up
- The dashboard. The Ask Copilot entry in the sidebar and Ctrl+/ on every page, the Knowledge page in every project’s menu, the switches in the inbox’s settings, the Copilot Credits card under Plans & Billing, and Use Copilot in the role editor.
- The bot. The Ask Copilot button on the home menu and on every project card, and /copilot.
- The inbox and the portal. The ✨ suggested reply, the automated member answers, and Ask Copilot in the corner of the portal page.
- Alerts. The Monday digest and the pattern alerts under a Subscriby Copilot class, routed like any other.
- The REST API. The Knowledge API to read, teach, change and remove entries, the Copilot Credits API for the balance, the statement, a pack purchase and the settings, and a project’s support settings carrying the two member-answer switches.
- The MCP server. Nine tools, from
get_copilot_creditsandcreate_copilot_credits_packtocreate_knowledge_entry, so your own agent can read your balance and teach your project: the Copilot Credits tools and the Knowledge tools. - Webhooks. Seven events:
copilot_credits.purchased,copilot_credits.granted,copilot_credits.lowandcopilot_credits.refunded, andknowledge.created,knowledge.updatedandknowledge.deleted, which announce every change without carrying the text: the Copilot Credits events and the Knowledge events. - Zapier and n8n. The Zapier 4.4.0 and n8n 4.4.0 integrations carry the Knowledge entries, the Copilot Credits reads and settings and the two switches, published today.
Questions
Which plan do I need?
None in particular. Every plan includes free turns and free member answers a month, from 10 and 100 on Free to 50 and 500 on Growth, and Knowledge is on every plan too. Past the free part you buy Copilot Credits in packs; there is no Copilot addon and nothing is added to your plan.
What is a turn?
One message you send and the answer it gets, however many operations the answer needed up to four; past four it counts as two, and it stops at eight. A suggested reply in the inbox and a member answer are not turns; each has its own price, and the digest and the alerts have none.
Can it do something I did not ask for?
No. It runs with exactly your permissions, reads and additive work run as asked, and anything that cannot be undone waits on a card you confirm; a card left unanswered expires. Switch on Review every change and the new things it makes wait on a card too. Every operation is in the activity log.
What can a member make it do?
Nothing beyond their own standing. A member is answered by a separate assistant with no tools at all, from their own subscription, your saved replies and the Knowledge entries you marked for members. It cannot reach a project, a plan, another member or anything of yours, and a question it cannot answer waits for a person.
Where does my data go?
To the model provider under a zero-data-retention agreement, never to train a model, and threads are pruned after ninety days. The eye in the panel is yours to switch off on any page, and your browser remembers the choice.
Can my team use it?
Yes. The Use Copilot permission opens it for a role, and whoever asks is bounded by their own role. The credits are the owner’s pool, shown with the statement on the owner’s Billing page.
Can an outside agent do the same?
Yes, through the MCP server, with the same 213 tools under a personal access token or OAuth. The Copilot is the operator inside the product; the MCP server is the same operations wherever you already work.

Ask Your First Question
Open the dashboard and press Ask Copilot in the sidebar, or tap Ask Copilot on the bot’s home menu. Ask who is about to churn. Have the coupon made and the broadcast sent. Teach it your project on the Knowledge page and let it answer your members tonight. Everything else, from the first question to Monday’s digest, we handle.
