Access Codes turn each of those into a code: you generate a batch for a plan, hand the codes out however you like, and a member who redeems one holds the plan for its period, admitted the same way a paying member is.

Nothing to connect
There are no keys and no gateway. Switch the method on under Payment Methods, open Access Codes in your project and generate a batch for any plan; the codes reach you through your bot, one by one or as a file for a large batch.
Redeemed in the bot or on the portal
A member sends the code to your bot as it was issued, taps its join link, or uses the Use Access Code button on your portal. The code is single-use and opens the plan at once, and the member is admitted to every place the plan unlocks.
Plans that only codes can open
Mark a plan as access codes only and it disappears from the public portal and the bot, so a private tier, a sponsor seat or a migrated membership never shows a price to the public.
Counted when redeemed, not when generated
Every plan includes a free allocation of redemptions per billing cycle. Generate as many codes as you like, since only a redeemed code counts, and a redemption beyond the allocation carries your plan's usual transaction fee.
How to connect Access Codes

In your dashboard open Payment Methods, choose Set Up a Payment Method and pick Access Codes; there are no credentials and no test mode.

Switch the method on and save.

Open Access Codes in the project, choose Generate New Access Codes, pick the plan and the quantity, and choose how long the codes stay valid.

Collect the codes from your bot, as messages for a small batch or a file for a large one, and hand them out however the sale or the gift was made.

Revoke a code that was issued by mistake from the same screen; a redeemed code is spent and cannot be used again.

Common Questions
Read the setup guide- Does a membership opened with a code renew?
- No. A code opens the plan for one period, a month or a year as the plan is set, and there is no payment method to charge when it ends; the member is reminded before the end and redeems a new code to continue. A lifetime plan opened with a code never ends.
- Can a code be used twice?
- No. Every code is single-use. Generate as many as you need; a code that was never redeemed costs nothing.
- What does an access code cost me?
- Nothing to generate. Each plan includes a free allocation of redemptions per billing cycle, and a redemption beyond it carries the same transaction fee as a payment on your plan, invoiced as usage. The allocation resets with the cycle and does not carry over.
- Can members see a plan that is sold by codes only?
- Not unless they hold a code. A plan marked access codes only is hidden from the portal and the bot, and a member who redeems a code for it is admitted like any other.
- Can I move members over from another tool with codes?
- Yes. Generate a batch for the plan they held, hand each member a code, and they redeem it in the bot or on the portal; their new period starts the day they redeem.
