Renewals that run themselves
A monthly or yearly plan charges the saved card on every cycle. When a card fails, Stripe retries on its own schedule and Subscriby ends access only when the retries run out, then reopens it the moment a payment lands.
Connected, not configured
The key-based gateways ask you to paste keys. Stripe uses Stripe Connect: you are sent to Stripe's own onboarding, sign in or create an account, and Subscriby receives what it needs when you finish. An unfinished onboarding can be resumed from the payment method's menu.
Fees deducted at the charge
Because the connection is a direct one, Subscriby's transaction fee comes out of each Stripe payment as it happens, and what reaches your Stripe balance is already net of it. The exceptions are Stripe accounts in Brazil, India, Mexico, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, where Stripe does not allow the deduction and the fee is invoiced as usage like every other gateway.
How to connect Stripe

In your dashboard open Payment Methods, choose Set Up a Payment Method and pick Stripe.

Choose Live for real payments or Test for Stripe's test cards; the two can run side by side as separate methods.

Click Connect and complete Stripe's onboarding: business details, bank account and the identity checks Stripe asks for in your country.

Back in Subscriby the method shows as linked once Stripe allows charges; a pending verification shows as Charges Disabled until Stripe clears it.

Choose Sync Subscription Plans from the method's menu once, so your plans exist in Stripe as products and prices for checkout and renewals.

No. Stripe Connect links the Stripe account you already have; you sign in during onboarding and authorise Subscriby to take payments on your behalf.
How does Subscriby charge its transaction fee on Stripe sales?
