Keep the Members You Were About to Lose

A grace window on failed renewals, one offer on cancellation, and follow-ups for leads, stalled checkouts and ending trials

Most members who stop paying never decided to leave: a card expired and the tool removed them in silence. Revenue Recovery answers each of those moments: a failed renewal opens a grace window, a member who cancels is asked why and made one offer, and a lost member, a lead, a stalled checkout and an ending trial hear from you on the days you chose.

Included on
Every plan for the notices and the grace window
The cancellation offers and the win-back sequences are on Growth; on every other plan the Revenue Recovery Addon unlocks them at $9/mo, with no extra transaction fee.
Grace window
None until you set one, up to 30 days
Set per project, from zero (access pauses at the failure) to 30 days. The clock starts at the first failure of a renewal and never restarts on a failed retry.
The ladder
Four notices, each with the way to pay
At the failure, on day 3, the day before the window closes and once at the pause, where the member already is: their chat or their email. Each carries the rail's own link to pay again, and the ladder stops the moment a charge settles.
Cancellation screen
The reason, their words, one offer
10 reasons and Other, in the member's language, an optional sentence, and the one offer the member's rail can honour: a pause, a discount on the renewals or a coupon to come back with. Every answer is written down for you.
Win-back sequences
Up to 8 steps, 180 days apart at most
Each step is your words with the member's name, the project, the coupon and the way to the plan filled in, sent where the member is. The same engine runs on four moments: a member who left, a new lead, a stalled checkout and a trial about to end. A payment ends the sequence as a win, and you are told.
Four moments
A lead, a stalled checkout, a trial ending, a member who left
A sequence runs on one trigger. A lead enters one at their first contact; a checkout that stays open past your window with no payment is counted as stalled, once per member per day; a trial without a card enters one the days before its end you chose; and the win-back trigger keeps reaching the member who left.
Checkout window
Up to 24 hours, 1 by default
Every checkout a member starts on your portal or in your bot is written to a ledger the moment they are handed the way to pay. An hourly sweep counts it as stalled once your window has passed with no settled charge; the next charge that settles closes it as recovered, with what it was worth.
Trial reminder
3 days before the end, up to 14
For the trials that will not convert on their own, the cardless and access-code ones; a trial with a card on file keeps its own reminder. A shorter trial enters the sequence at its start, and a paid membership ends it as a conversion.
Automate it
15 webhook events, 12 MCP tools
The settings, the figures, the cancellation screens, the activity ledger, the checkout ledger and the sequences are readable and writable over the REST API, Zapier and n8n too; 3 of the events announce a lead who arrived, a checkout that stalled and one that came back.

What Revenue Recovery does for you

A failed renewal is not a lost member

Every other membership tool removes a member the moment a charge fails and leaves the rest to the gateway's retries. Here the member keeps their access while the gateway retries, hears from you four times with a link that pays in one tap, and is let back in by the first charge that settles; the dashboard counts what came back and what it was worth.

One offer, where the rail can honour it

A pause holds the charge for one billing cycle where the gateway can hold it, a discount rides on the renewals where the gateway can carry a coupon, and a coupon to come back with works on every payment method. The screen makes the one offer the member's rail can keep, never a promise the gateway would break.

Messages in your words, on your days

A win-back sequence is yours: up to 8 steps, each a message you wrote with the member's name, your project, a coupon and the way back filled in, sent on the days you chose. A member enrols once per departure, never while they hold a live membership, and leaves the sequence the moment they pay.

Every answer written down

Why members cancel, as bars on the Cancellations face; which offers were shown and taken; every notice, offer and message in a ledger with whether the member paid again afterwards; and a daily digest to your chat on the days something happened.

The lead pool is where the sales are

Every person who opened your bot, signed in to your portal or followed a link and never bought is a lead your project already knows. A lead sequence reaches them in your words on the days you chose, from their first contact, and stops the moment they buy or start a trial.

A stalled checkout is not a lost sale

Online stores win back a tenth to a fifth of abandoned carts with a few timed messages. Here every checkout is written down the moment the member is handed the way to pay, counted as stalled once your window passes, and reopened by one tap on the step's button, with the plan and the step's coupon already in place.

How to switch it on

  1. 1

Open Revenue Recovery in your project. The grace window, the cancellation question and the daily digest are already running on every plan; set the window to the days your audience needs, and the checkout window and the trial reminder beside it.

  2. 2

On Growth or with the Revenue Recovery Addon, switch the offers on: the pause, the discount coupon and the return coupon, each coupon one of your own codes.

  3. 3

Build a win-back sequence on the Sequences face: a name, then up to 8 steps with their days and your message, with {name}, {project}, {coupon}, {discount}and {link}filled in for each member, and preview it for a sample member.

  4. 4

On the Sequences face, build a sequence from a starter: pick the moment, a new lead, a stalled checkout or a trial ending, and three steps on the right days are written for you, every word yours to change.

  5. 5

Watch the overview: failed renewals, recoveries and what they brought back, the members in grace and paused right now, and the sequences' enrolments, completions and wins; the project dashboard carries the same card.

  6. 6

Watch the overview's third row: the leads who arrived, entered a sequence and bought; the checkouts started, stalled and recovered with what they were worth; the trials reminded and kept. The Checkouts face lists every checkout with what became of it.

  7. 7

Read the Cancellations face for the reasons and the words, and the Activity face for every notice, offer and message with whether a payment followed; the daily digest brings the day's figures to your chat.

Common Questions

Read the guide
Which plan do I need for Revenue Recovery?
The notices, the pay-again links, the grace window and the cancellation question are on every plan, Free included. The cancellation offers and the win-back sequences are included on Growth; on every other plan the Revenue Recovery Addon unlocks them at $9/mo, with the first charge prorated to the days left in your billing period and no extra transaction fee.
Does Subscriby charge the member again?
No. Your payment gateway holds the member's card or wallet and retries on its own schedule; Subscriby keeps the member's access while it does, tells them with the gateway's own link to pay again, and lets them back in the moment a charge settles. A one-time purchase never enters grace: it ends as it always did, and the renewal reminders and the portal are its way back.
What does the member see when a renewal fails?
A message where they already talk to your project, their chat or their email: that the payment failed, that their access stays until the window closes, and a button that opens their payment method's own page to pay again. A reminder on day 3, a last warning the day before the pause, and one notice when access pauses; nothing more, and nothing once they have paid.
Can the member refuse the offer?
Yes. The screen makes one offer and the member takes it or passes; passing cancels as before, keeping their access until the period ends, and the pass is counted so you know how often the offer works. A pause they took ends by itself after one billing cycle, with fresh links and a welcome back.
Who can a win-back sequence reach?
A member whose last live membership ended, once per departure, on the account they used with your project. A member who holds a live membership is never enrolled, one who pays again leaves the sequence the same moment, and one the platform can no longer reach leaves it quietly; nothing is sent twice.
Who counts as a lead?
Anyone your project records for the first time without a purchase: a first message to your bot, a sign-in to your portal, a Smart Link or a referral link followed. A lead sequence takes new leads from the day it runs; your existing leads are still a Broadcasts audience.
When does a checkout count as stalled?
When the window you set has passed since the member was handed the way to pay, on any payment method, with no settled charge and no live membership. A member is counted once a day however many times they tapped Pay, and a member who already holds a membership is never chased.
Does a trial sequence keep going after the trial ends?
Yes. The passage runs its steps past the end of the trial, because only a paid membership ends it, and while it runs the win-back trigger leaves that member alone. A trial with a card on file is not enrolled: the gateway charges it, and the reminder it always had covers it.
Can a member stop the messages?
Every step carries a Stop command, a button in the bot and a one-tap link in an email. Pressing it ends every open sequence for that member and keeps them out of every sequence until a charge settles for them or they switch the follow-ups back on in their portal account settings.
